Ted McCann,
Vice President, American Idea Foundation
Ted McCann is Vice President of the American Idea Foundation. Formerly he served as senior advisor to the Speaker of the House, staff director of the House Ways and Means Social Security Subcommittee, and an analyst with the House Budget Committee.
As Vice President for Programs and Policies of the American Idea Foundation, Ted works alongside former Speaker Paul Ryan at the American Idea Foundation, engaging third-party organizations in order to ensure that evidence is fully utilized in the federal policy-making process.
He studied at the Naval War College and earned his B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Economics from Miami University.
